The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Rosalyn Johnson a 2022 recipient of one of the 19 Margaret and Donald Wenner, MD Scholarship awards.
Rosalyn, the daughter of Monica Johnson is a 2022 graduate of Bucyrus High School. She will be attending Mount Vernon Nazarene University this fall and studying Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
What inspired you to choose your intended major?
“Speech Pathology is an area of the medical field in serious need. I also find the field very fascinating, and I feel very passionately about it. I also feel very passionately about working with kids, and I feel this career would allow me to do that.”
What are your career and life goals after you graduate?
“After I get my Bachelor's degree, I plan to go on to graduate school to get my Master's degree. I plan on working specifically with kids in either a hospital or school setting. I plan on returning to Bucyrus when starting my career.”
Congratulations and good luck in the future, Rosalyn!
