The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Faith Raines, a 2023 recipient of one of the seven Kenneth Cummins Scholarship awards.
Faith, the daughter of Michael Raines and Sarah Steele, is a 2023 graduate of Buckeye Central High School. She is attending the Bowling Green State University - Firelands Campus this fall and studying Early Education.
What inspired you to choose your intended major?
"I have a passion for working with young children, and I have always dreamt of becoming a teacher. I want to be a positive light onto young students who may not see that light anywhere else."
What are your career and life goals after you graduate?
"After graduation, I want to be a kindergarten teacher. I want to grow old knowing that I was able to make positive impacts on my students' lives."
