Jack Gatchel  The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Jack  Gatchel, a 2023 recipient of one of the two Dustin T. Stover Scholarship awards  and one of the two Kevin A. Binau Scholarship awards.

Jack, the son of Lyle Gatchel and Jo Ellen Simonsen, is a 2023 graduate of  Wynford High School. He is attending Ohio Wesleyan University this fall and  studying Psychology.

What inspired you to choose your intended major?

"I chose to major in psychology because I am fascinated by the subject. I enjoy learning why people think and act certain ways based on both genetic and environmental factors. The CCP psychology courses I took in high school are what introduced me to this field of study."

What are you career and life goals after you graduate?

"After I graduate, I plan on going to graduate school to earn my EdS. After that, I plan on working as a school psychologist."

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Jack!
