The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Jalynn Diller, a 2023 recipient of one of the two John W. Brubaker, Jr. Scholarship awards and one of the 19 Margaret and Donald Wenner, MD Scholarship awards.
Jalynn, the daughter of Randy Diller Jr. and Nicole Diller, is a 2023 graduate of Bucyrus High School. She will be attending Mount Vernon Nazarene University this fall and studying Music Education.
What inspired you to choose your intended major?
"I love music. I have a passion for people and music. I enjoyed working with my classmates to help them answer any questions they had about their instruments. I also enjoy the prospect of teaching middle school students the foundations of their instruments and music."
What are your career and life goals after you graduate?
"After college, I would like to teach at a Christian school. I would also like to be heavily involved in the church as I am going to be minoring in Christian ministries."
