Alaina ColleneThe Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Alaina Collene, a 2024 recipient of one of the five Kenneth Cummins Scholarship awards.

What inspired you to choose your intended major?

"The thing that most inspired me to go into pharmacy is my love for helping others. I have always loved helping people, and by choosing pharmacy, I will be able to help people on a day-to-day basis. In high school, I loved classes pertaining to math and science, which contributed to my decision.

What are your career and life goals after you graduate?

"I plan to graduate with my doctorate in pharmacy. This will allow me to reach my goal of opening my own pharmacy. This will allow people to have closer access to their medications."

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Alaina!
