Posted by Rachel Jarvis on Tue, Jul 30, 2024

Cory BiglinThe Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Cory Biglin, a 2024 recipient of one of the six Crawford County Sports Hall of Fame Scholarship awards.

Cory, the son of Thomas Biglin and Lisa Biglin, is a 2024 graduate of Buckeye Central High School. He will be attending North Central State College this fall and studying Business Administration Management.

What inspired you to choose your intended major?

"I chose my intended major as I believe it is a very versatile program. With a degree in this major, I believe there is a lot of variety in the job you can obtain in the future. A focus in administration management gives the possibility of receiving a higher-up management position at a company in the future where a high level of leadership and accountability is required. This is a position that I could see myself in in the future."

What are your career and life goals after you graduate?

"After I graduate, I would love to have a job in the local community where I am able to actively help people every day. I would like a job in which I am put in a leadership position in order to benefit my local community. I wish to continue to be a volunteer firefighter in order to help my community as well. My community has been so impactful to my success, and I take very large responsibility in paying back so much that the community has given me."

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Cory!
