2024 Scholarship Recipient Spotlight: Edward Dagher

Dagher, EdwardThe Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Edward Dagher, a 2024 recipient of one of the 19 Doug and Renee Leuthold Scholarship awards.

Edward, the grandson of Sleiman and Nawal Dagher is a 2022 graduate of Bucyrus High School. He is in his third year of a Bachelor's Degree in Media Production at Bowling Green State University.

 

 

What is your favorite aspect of college life and why?

"My favorite aspect of college is meeting new people and being able to further my education to eventually work in Media Production."

What new interests or courses of study have you discovered at college?

"I really enjoyed and had fun in my editing class this past year, which helped me decide to switch my major from Communications to Media."

In what ways has the college experience changed/improved you?

"Being in college has improved my drive to study in school and live independently."

What advice would you give an incoming college freshman?

"Make sure to attend classes and don't be afraid to ask for help."

What is one item on your bucket list and why?

"I would love to see the seven wonders of the world because I love history and want to explore new places!"
