2024 Scholarship Recipient Spotlight: Faye Betts

Faye BettsThe Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Faye Betts, a 2024 recipient of one of the five Kenneth Cummins Scholarship awards.

Faye, the daughter of Jake Betts and Amy Betts, is a 2024 graduate of Buckeye Central High School. She is attending Kentucky Welding Institute this fall.

 

 

 

What inspired you to choose your intended major?

"I chose welding as my intended career because it offers hands-on work, job stability, good earning potential, and the satisfaction of creating tangible, useful products."

What are your career and life goals after you graduate?

"My life goals after graduation include establishing a family and securing a steady job. I aim to create a stable and fulfilling personal life, balancing the responsibilities of family with a reliable career that provides financial security and personal satisfaction."
