The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Harper Boggs, a 2024 recipient of one of the 20 Margaret and Donald Wenner, MD Scholarship awards.
Harper, the daughter of Harry Kevin Boggs and Rochelle Dawn Boggs, is a 2024 graduate of Bucyrus High School. She will be attending Bowling Green State University this fall and studying Art Education.
What inspired you to choose your intended major?
"I have always had a fascination and love for the arts, and I chose this major so I can share my love of the arts with the next generation. My high school art teacher, Mr. Feck, has been a great mentor and encourage me to pursue my passion for the arts and provided opportunities to broaden my skills. Art education will allow me to share knowledge and skills to help children on their creative journey."
What are your career and life goals after you graduate?
"After I graduate from BGSU, my career goal is to be a high school art teacher and inspire students to use their creative talents. My life goals after graduation are to enjoy working with students and to continue sharing my love for the arts."
Congratulations and good luck in the future, Harper!
