The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Ivy Schifer, a 2024 recipient of one of the six L. Earl Smith Scholarship awards and the Wynford FFA Rising Sun Scholarship award.
Ivy, the daughter of Timothy Paul Schifer and Charma Lee Schifer, is a 2024 graduate of Wynford High School. She will be attending Wilmington College this fall and studying Agbusiness.
What inspired you to choose your intended major?
"I grew up on a farm and have always wanted to be involved in agriculture. By working in ag business, I will be able to stick close to my roots."
What are your career and life goals after you graduate?
"When I graduate, I plan to grow my family's farm and be successful."
