2024 Scholarship Recipient Spotlight: Natalie Stover

Natalie StoverThe Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Natalie Stover, a 2024 recipient of one of the nine Glen and Alice Beers Scholarship awards.

Natalie, the daughter of Michael Anthony (Tony) Stover and Agnieszka Stover, is a 2022 graduate of Wynford High School. She is in her second year of a Bachelor's Degree in Neuroscience at The Ohio State University.

 

 

What is your favorite aspect of college life and why?

"My favorite aspect of college life has to be the memories and friends I have made! Through the academic experiences I have been fortunate enough to participate in, to embarking on random adventures around Columbus with classmates, I have found a sense of belonging at OSU that I am eternally grateful for."

What new interests or courses of study have you discovered at college?

"I have discovered an interest in extracellular vesicle drug delivery mechanisms and epilepsy research! By being able to explore Neuroscience more, a whole world of academic challenges and intriguing possibilities opened up to me."

In what was has the college experience changed/improved you?

"The college experience gave me the confidence that I am on the right path."

What advice would you give an incoming college freshman?

"Be yourself, work hard, and keep trying. Even though you may run across obstacles, keep persevering, and soon you'll see success in whatever you plan to achieve."

What is one item on your bucket list and why?

"I want to publish a Neuroscience-themed book. A book I read was what inspired me to go into Neuroscience, and I want to be able to inspire others as well."
