What is your favorite aspect of college life and why?

"My favorite aspect of college life has been the extracurricular activities that are available to you. You have the opportunity to join clubs, volunteer, go to fitness classes, and go to sports events. There is no shortage of things to be involved in or do, so you are rarely bored!"

What new interests or courses of study have you discovered at college?

"At college, I developed not only an interest, but a love for coffee. This is partially due to my enjoyment of drinking it and going to new places to try different coffees, but also because I need it to help me stay awake for classes."

In what way has the college experience changed/improved you?

"The college experience has allowed me to gain the confidence to step out of my comfort zone and do things that used to scare me. This has allowed me many new and different opportunities that I otherwise would never have gotten if I hadn't taken the chance."

What advice would you give an incoming college freshman?

"My advice to an incoming college freshman would be to be open to change. You never know what life will throw at you, but sometimes those unexpected things will end up giving you a new opportunity or interest you would have never known about otherwise."

What is one item on your bucket list and why?

"One item on my bucket list is to learn a new language. I would love to be able to communicate with a broader range of people, and it would be so useful in a career and with traveling!"

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Paige!
