The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Audrey Glew, a 2025 recipient of one of the six Arlene H. Smith Scholarship awards.
Audrey, the daughter of Lucinda Glew and Michael Glew, is a 2025 graduate of Galion High School. She is attending Ashland University this fall and studying to become an Intervention Specialist.
What inspired you to choose your intended major?
"I chose to pursue a major as an Intervention Specialist because I'm passionate about helping students with diverse learning needs reach their full potential. Seeing how the right support can transform a child's confidence and academic success inspired me to be part of that change. I want to make a meaningful impact in education by creating inclusive environments where every student can thrive."
What are your career and life goals after you graduate?
"After I graduate, my goal is to return to Galion and give back to the community that helped shape me. I plan to work as an Intervention Specialist, supporting students with unique learning needs, and also coach volleyball to share my passion for the sport. I want to make a positive impact both in the classroom and on the court."
Congratulations and good luck in the future, Audrey!
