The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Brady Rankins, a 2025 recipient of one of the 20 Margaret and Donald Wenner, MD Scholarship awards.
Brady, the son of Lisa Ann Rankins and Michael Keith Lewis, is a 2022 graduate of Bucyrus High School. He is in his fourth year of a Bachelor's Degree in Media Production at Bowling Green State University.
What is your favorite aspect of college life and why?
"My favorite aspect of college life is getting to know other people and learning new things. Every experience is something I can build on and learn from."
What new interests or courses of study have you discovered at college?
"I have taken classes that have helped prepare me for my real-world job once I graduate, such as a live production class where I get to fill the shoes of every position I would have to assume in a real production setting."
In what way has the college experience changed/improved you?
"College has improved my understanding of what I need to do to make it further in life."
What advice would you give an incoming college freshman?
"Make your homework a priority first over everything. Once your prioritize that, everything else is easy."
What is one item on your bucket list and why?
"I would love to go sky diving just to experience the thrill of it."
