2025 Scholarship Recipient Spotlight: Gabriella Roston

Gabriella RostonThe Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Gabriella Roston, a 2025 recipient of one of the six Crawford County Sports Hall of Fame Scholarship awards and one of the two Rollie & Esther Wilson Scholarship awards.

Gabriella, the daughter of Sara Roston and Todd Roston, is a 2025 graduate of Colonel Crawford High School. She is attending University of Findlay this fall and studying Exercise Science.

What inspired you to choose your intended major?

"I chose my intended major of exercise science because I would like to become a physical therapist in the future. As an athlete, I have witnessed some of my teammates and friends sustain injuries throughout my high school athletic career. After watching them struggle to rehab their injuries, I realized that I was interested in becoming a physical therapist. I want to help athletes get back to playing like themselves and not have to worry about how they will improve. I plan on coming back after graduating somewhere close to Crawford County so that I can give back to the community that I grew up in."

What are your career and life goals after you graduate?

"My career goals after I graduate from college would be to begin working in Crawford County in physical therapy with athletes. I want athletes and families in Crawford County to be able to have a close and accessible physical therapist who can help them effectively rehab back into their desired sports. My life goals after I graduate are to find a job that I love and then spend time with my friends and my family."

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Gabriella!
