The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce, Miranda Stone, a 2025 recipient of one of the 20 Margaret and Donald Wenner, MD Scholarship awards.
Miranda, the daughter of Mandy Teeters and Chris Stone, is a 2024 graduate of Galion High School. She is pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting at Ashland University.
What is your favorite aspect of college life and why?
"Getting to meet new and figure out what I am passionate about."
What new interests or courses of study have you discovered at college?
"I have discovered a love for accounting."
In what way has the college experience changed/improved you?
"It has taught me a lot about myself, and I have learned how to manage my time much better."
What advice would you give an incoming college freshman?
"Call your parents often, and don't change yourself to try and make friends."
What is one item on your bucket list and why?
"I would like to see the Eiffel Tower. It has been on my bucket list for a very long time."
