The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Angela Figueroa, a 2026 recipient of one of the five Kenneth Cummins Scholarship awards and one of the three Marvis Schaaf Scholarship awards.
Angela, the daughter of Selia Figueroa and Elias Figueroa, is a 2026 graduate of Buckeye Central High School. She is attending Heidelberg University and studying Health Science.
What inspired you to choose your intended major?
"I want to help others be healthy, and it is a good major for becoming a Physical Therapist."
What are your career and life goals after you graduate?
"I want to be a Sports Physical Therapist, own a car and a house, and be happy and healthy alongside those I love."
