The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Bailey Rossman, a 2026 recipient of one of the two Kevin A. Binau Scholarship awards.
Bailey, the daughter of Holly Michell Rossman and James Bryan Rossman, is a 2026 graduate of Colonel Crawford High School. She is attending Bowling Green State University and studying Art Education.
What inspired you to choose your intended major?
"I was inspired to choose an art education major because of my passions for art and teaching. I grew up in a classroom setting because my mother is a kindergarten teacher, and through this, I learned that I love to work in children. I have also had great art teachers throughout my time in school, and with their guidance, I decided that art education was the major for me."
What are your career and life goals after you graduate?
"After I graduate, I plan to get a fulltime job teaching art at a public school. Through this career, I hope to be able to guide my students and to help them find joy in creating art. I also plan to get involved in leading extracurricular activities for students and possibly coaching cheerleading. As I get settled down into teaching, I will continue my education to earn a Masters of Fine Arts Degree, which will help me to expand my job opportunities for the future."
