The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Jacob Wagner, the 2026 recipient of the Holmes Liberty Alumni Scholarship award.
Jacob, the son of Michelle Wagner and Joe Wagner, is a 2026 graduate of Wynford High School. He is attending Bowling Green State University and studying Education.
What inspired you to choose your intended major?
"The person who inspired me to do an education major was my History teacher Andrew Amlin. Andrew Amlin made teaching fun in his own way, and that inspired me to become a teacher, as I think I would enjoy it the most."
What are your career and life goals after you graduate?
"After I graduate, I plan to attend Bowling Green State University to become a high school teacher. I also plan to pay off my college loan then move into an affordable home with a job as a teacher."
