The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Maren McDougal, a 2026 recipient of one of three Tyler Niese Memorial Scholarship awards.
Maren, the daughter of Melissa McDougal and Scott McDougal, is a 2026 graduate of Buckeye Central High School. She is attending Rhodes State College and studying Dental Hygiene.
What inspired you to choose your intended major?
"Since I have been young, I have always enjoyed going to the dentist and getting my teeth cleaned. I have been fortunate enough to be able to go twice a year to the dentist and receive cleanings and x-rays. I hope to be able to help other people enjoy going to the dentist and value their dental hygiene."
What are your career and life goals after you graduate?
"After I graduate Buckeye Central, I plan to attend Rhodes State College to get my degree in dental hygiene. I hope to stay around the area working as a dental hygienist and then starting a family."
Congratulations and good luck in the future, Maren!
