The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Olivia Bishop, a 2026 recipient of one of the five Kenneth Cummins Scholarship awards.
Olivia, the daughter of Celina Bishop and Scott Bishop, is a 2026 graduate of Buckeye Central High School. She is attending University of Toledo and studying Mechanical Engineering.
What inspired you to choose your intended major?
"I have always been told I think like an engineer. I enjoy being creative and designing projects. Also, many of my family members are engineers, which has inspired me to pursue this field."
What are your career and life goals after you graduate?
"After graduating, I would like to secure a job in the mechanical engineering field. I would also like to travel for a few years before having a family."
Congratulations and good luck in the future, Olivia!
