The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Payne DeGray, a 2026 recipient of one of the six Crawford County Sports Hall of Fame Scholarship awards.
Payne, the son of Angela DeGray and Brett DeGray, is a 2026 graduate of Colonel Crawford High School. He is attending University of St. Francis this fall and studying Business Administration.
What inspired you to choose your intended major?
"My family has a history of working in the business field. I have always really liked math and working with money. I plan to go on to make my family proud."
What are your career and life goals after you graduate?
"I would like to eventually own my own business. I also enjoy giving back to my community, and I would like to be able to continue that after graduation."
