The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Ryan Wise, a 2026 recipient of one of the two Alyssa Pine Memorial Scholarship awards.
Ryan, the son of Jennifer Wise and Steven Wise, is a 2026 graduate of Wynford High School. He is attending Bowling Green State University and studying Integrated Social Studies Education.
What inspired you to choose your intended major?
"Ever since I was a child, I had always wanted to assist my peers in class, especially in any topic of social studies like history. History is a general interest of mine, and I enjoy learning about both American and world history, as history is what got us to the current state of the world and is very important!"
What are your career and life goals after you graduate?
"I will be going to college for Integrated Social Studies Education to further my interests in history and teaching. I intend to teach history at the high school level as well."
Congratulations and good luck in the future, Ryan!
