The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Savannah Pace, a 2026 recipient of one of the five Kenneth Cummins Scholarship awards.
Savannah, the daughter of Amanda Pace and Matthew Pace, is a 2026 graduate of Buckeye Central High School. She is attending Heidelberg University and studying Biology and Chemistry.
What inspired you to choose your intended major?
"I was inspired to choose a double major in Biology and Chemistry because throughout my high school years, I have found that I have really enjoyed the sciences. I tend to do very well in science-related classes, so I figured that I should follow a path that I not only succeed in, but one that I enjoy as well."
What are your career and life goals after you graduate?
"I intend to become a perfusionist after college. That career path has been of great interest to me, and it is one that I see myself enjoying."
Congratulations and good luck in the future, Savannah!
