Match Day 2014 is December 2nd, 2014, the 3rd annual National Day of Giving! The Community Foundation for Crawford County is proud to announce that the Board of Directors has approved $30,000 to be divided on a prorated basis among the CF4CC organizations that participate in this year's Match Day challenge.
Donations may be made on-line through our web-site on December 2nd (please add "Match Day" on the "Other" line), delivered by hand to the Foundation office or any of the Match Day locations -- Bucyrus Fire Department (223 E. Mansfield St.), Crestline Fire Department (City Hall 100 N. Seltzer Rd.), New Washington Fire Department (119 E. Mansfield St.) and the Galion Fire Department (301 Harding Way E), or postmarked by December 2nd to the Foundation office at 254 E. Mansfield St. Bucyrus, OH 44820.
The Chief of the Fire Department that succeeds in getting the most donations will help us "douse the fire" by having a bucket of water poured over his head! We feel that matching donated funds on the National Day of Giving will make your donation even more meaningful for your chosen organization. Last year's eligible organizations were able to gain an additional $0.50 for every $1.00 donated, for a total of over $71,000 raised!
