crawford 2020 visionThere's a new playing field for businesses in the state of Ohio and Crawford County.

On Sept. 6, 2011 at 5:30pm in the Youth Building at the Crawford County Fairgrounds, the Crawford: 20/20 Vision Business Success/Job Availability action team will host a panel of state leaders including Mary Taylor, Lieutenant Governor. During the event, leaders will discuss these new realities and how they impact businesses in Crawford County.

Registration for this event is available at www.crawford2020.com/newreality.

Along with Lt. Governor Taylor, Jeff McClain, state representative, and Andy Doehrel, Ohio Chamber of Commerce resident Andy Doehrel will be discussing topics ranging from regulatory reform in Ohio and thoughts about redesigning Ohio.

“Business owners may not know and fully understand the rules of Ohio's economic game,” said Dave Williamson, Crawford County Economic Development Director. “The leaders in our state are working on a variety of topics that could have profound repercussions on the business community in Crawford County. This forum is a unique opportunity for business and civic leaders to hear about these changes directly from those who are initiating that change.”

Joe Kleinknecht, Co-Chair for the Business Success/Job Availability goal team, believes this is an event that every business owner and civic leader should attend.

“It's not everyday that you have an opportunity to learn about initiatives on the state level from individuals who are leading the state like Lieutenant Governor Taylor,” Kleinknecht said. “The changes that are being made in Columbus are going to affect every business and governmental organization in Crawford County. It's imperative that our leaders know, and understand, these changes.”

The cost for the event is $20 and includes a fully catered dinner from Carle's Bratwurst. Registration for the event closes on September 1. Those interested in learning more and registering should visit www.crawford2020.com/newreality.
