BUCYRUS - The Community Foundation for Crawford County is announcing their annual photo contest from now until Friday, July 25th. Twelve (12) photographs will be chosen to grace the Foundation’s 2024 Gratitude Report/2026 local calendar, and one will be the winner!
The attached photo taken by Douglas Weinandy of an aerial view of Bucyrus at night was this year’s winner! The link below shows prior years of calendars to provide an idea of the pictures and factoids provided in the past. Additionally, the Foundation still has some 2025 calendars available at the office if anyone would still like to have one!

To be eligible for the contest, your photo(s) must …
- Represent people, places and/or things in Crawford County
- Be taken by a Crawford County resident
- Have an accompanying factoid about the picture
(Past submissions not yet used in a calendar will also be considered!)
How to enter: send your photo(s), along with an accompanying factoid about the picture, and your name to lisa@cfcrawford.org. If your photo wins, you will receive a gift certificate to a local restaurant!
