The Community Foundation for Crawford County has again joined #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide. Occurring this year on November 28, #GivingTuesday is held annually on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving (in the U.S.). The widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday are used to kick-off the holiday giving season and inspire people to collaborate in improving their local communities.

The citizens of Crawford County have once again helped The Community Foundation for Crawford County suprass it's goal for our annual fundraising day. On November 29, #GivingTuesday, the collective power of the individuals, communities and organizations of Crawford County and beyond, raised funds totaling $111,100.45! These funds go directly to the endowment funds of the organizations here at the Foundation. $13,025.20 of that total was raised for the Unrestricted fund at the CF4CC! This money is specifically earmarked for grant awards, once again supporting Crawford County, to improve the lives of its citizens.
