In 2000 and 2012, The Community Foundation for Crawford County offered matching grants to the five school systems within the CF4CC's service area. These funds were established so that the income off the funds went directly back to the individual school systems. The Bucyrus Area Community Foundation has officially changed its name to The Community Foundation for Crawford County, or CF4CC. A new sign was unveiled at the Annual Meeting on Monday, September 23rd.

The Community Foundation for Crawford County (formerly known as The Bucyrus Area Community Foundation) was founded in 1984 as a public charity. The Foundation, which serves the non-profit community of Crawford County, was started with a matching grant from the Timken Foundation.
