The Community Foundation for Crawford County has again joined #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide. Occurring this year on November 29, #GivingTuesday is held annually on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving (in the U.S.). The widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday are used to kick-off the holiday giving season and inspire people to collaborate in improving their local communities.

In 2000 and 2012, The Community Foundation for Crawford County offered matching grants to the five school systems within the CF4CC's service area. These funds were established so that the income off the funds went directly back to the individual school systems.
