Hannah, the daughter of Gregory and Melanie White, is a 2018 graduate of Wynford High School. She plans to attend North Central State College this fall and study radiological sciences.

Hannah was inspired by people and events in her life to choose a career in radiology. “Ever since I was young, I wanted to work in the medical field because my parents were active in that career,” she commented. “When I was little I observed my grandpa go through chemo. By going to some appointments and treatment sessions, I got to watch compassionate caregivers tend to my grandpa. The caregivers promoted a sense of comfort and encouragement that helped him become a cancer survivor. I wanted to preform tests that help diagnose and treat illness to help others like my grandpa. Radiology is the field where I can work hard to become a valued member on a hospital staff.” After graduation, Hannah intends to work at our area hospitals. “I plan to work at any surrounding community hospital [and] … work on my continuing education to ensure that I am up-to-date with new technology as it becomes available.” She concluded, “Most importantly, I want to make a difference in people’s lives by providing excellent care.”

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Hannah!
