Isabelle, the daughter of Lance and Kristi Biglin, is a 2017 graduate of Buckeye Central High School. She is entering her 2nd year of a bachelor's degree in clinical social work at The Ohio State University.

Isabelle’s love of stories inspired her to choose a career in clinical social work. “I’ve always been incredibly interested in hearing people’s stories. Our world is one giant story book, full of a billion tiny stories. I don’t remember a specific time I knew I wanted to be a clinical social worker. However, my whole life, I’ve wanted to be a writer, and eventually I realized that I was more interested in hearing people’s stories than I am in writing them,” Isabelle stated. “I want nothing more than to sit next to a total stranger, listen to them as they tell their story, and give them the love and guidance they need to become the best version of themselves. The story book of life is my inspiration in pursuing social work, and my desire to hear it is my motivation.” Isabelle plans to continue schooling to earn a master’s degree. “..[I will] then seek licensure to be a clinical social worker in either Tennessee or mid-Ohio. I want to practice art therapy with children, and eventually teach others the benefits of this practice. Above all, however, my main goal is to change as many people’s lives – for the better – as possible.”

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Isabelle!
