Kade, the son of James and Jodi Slagle, is a 2018 graduate of Bucyrus High School. He plans to attend the University of Findlay this fall and study physical therapy.

An injury in high school and the words of a physical therapist inspired Kade to choose a major in physical therapy. “I didn’t really intend to go into physical therapy; however, my sophomore year, I tore my ACL twice and did physical therapy for a year,” he stated. “My therapist asked me if I ever considered the occupation, and after he planted the idea, it became a passion of mine. I fell in love with how they help others with both the physical and psychological burden of injuries. The relationships you get to build while helping the patients are truly special.” After graduation, Kade plans to return to the county. “I hope to return to Crawford County to raise a family of my own and to become a physical therapist,” he explained. “I love the way I was raised, and I hope I can provide the same environment for my children. I also hope to better the community by being involved.”

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Kade!
