Mason, the son of Michael Light and Anne Devine, is a 2018 graduate of Bucyrus High School. He plans to attend Ohio University this fall and study pre-med.

Seeing a family member treated for cancer inspired Mason to choose pre-med. “My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was younger,” he stated. “After watching many doctors take care of my mother, I decided that I too wanted to give great medical care to those who need it.” After graduating with a bachelor’s degree, Mason will continue on to graduate school. “I intend on working towards my doctorate to become an orthopedic surgeon.”

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Mason!
