Spencer, the daughter of Kenny Kaple and Renee Zornes, is a 2018 graduate of Buckeye Central High School. She plans to attend The Ohio State University this fall.

Even though Spencer is undecided, she is looking into a medical/health major. “In high school, I always enjoyed and excelled in my science and math classes, so I began to research fields of study that are science based,” she stated. “When taking my anatomy class, I loved learning about the human body and how it works. Additionally, I find learning about healthy living very interesting. I also love helping others, and a career in the medical field would allow me to do that every day.” Spencer plans to continue her education after receiving a bachelor’s degree. “I plan to go on to medical school or another graduate program,” she explained. “I hope to one day work in a hospital setting or doctor’s office. As of now, I plan to become a pediatrician.”

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Spencer!
