Taylor, the daughter of Daniel Niese and Sheila Sobers, is a 2018 graduate of Buckeye Central High School. She plans to attend Ohio Northern University this fall and study pharmacy.

Time spent in pharmacies started Taylor’s passion for pharmacy. “As I was growing up, my father had a lot of health issues. I spent a lot of time in pharmacies with him while he waited on his medication,” she explained. “I became interested in how pill had the ability to make my father feel better, and I eventually started doing research on his prescriptions.” Taylor took her interest and found her passion through job shadowing and a camp. “I shadowed pharmacists in both a local hospital and a children’s hospital. I also attended a pharmacy camp at the University of Findlay.” Not only does Taylor want to get her doctorate in pharmacy, but she also wants to minor in business. Eventually she wants to “become a pediatric pharmacist in a children’s hospital.”

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Taylor!
