The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Desiree Naveja, a 2019 recipient of two scholarship awards: the Doug and Renee Leuthold Scholarship and the Merle and Peg Hutson Scholarship.
Desiree, the daughter of Ernest Naveja and Christy Carroll, is a 2019 graduate of Crestline High School. She will be attending The Ohio State University this fall and studying health science.
“I chose health science because I want to be an occupational therapist,” Desiree stated. “I want a meaningful job where I am able to help people… progress each day and be comfortable living normal lives.” After graduation, Desiree foresees herself working in a hospital setting. “I plan to be working in a hospital as an occupational therapist. My future goals are to help people each and every day in my career and make enough money that I am able to support myself and my future family.”
Congratulations and good luck in the future, Desiree!
