The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Makenzie Tighe, a 2019 recipient of one of the twenty Margaret and Donald Wenner, MD Scholarship awards.
Makenzie, the daughter of Gerald and Tracy Tighe, is a 2019 graduate of Bucyrus High School. She will be attending Tiffin University this fall and studying chemistry with a minor in business.
Makenzie’s ultimate goal is to work with animals. “After my four years at Tiffin, I plan to attend a veterinarian school,” she explained. “I [then] plan to travel the world to help wild animals. [Eventually,] once I want to settle down, I plan to move back home and work at a veterinarian’s office.”
