Molly, the daughter of Bradley and Michelle Geissman, is a 2019 graduate of Buckeye Central High School. She will be attending The Ohio State University – Mansfield Campus this fall and studying engineering.

Molly was inspired to choose engineering for many reasons. “One [reason] being my love for math and science,” she explained. “While many of my classmates despised math class, I always enjoyed solving equations. I often found it thrilling and satisfying. Another inspiration is my creativity. I see engineering as an opportunity for me to combine my math skills with my creative instincts.” Molly concluded, “My final and probably largest inspiration…is my dad. He is an engineer, and I have always admired his job and how hard he works. I hope to one day be able to have as much passion for my career as he does for his.” After graduating, Molly wants to find an engineering position that she enjoys and will financially support her. “I hope to live in a city like Columbus or Cleveland and eventually buy a home for myself. I also plan to get married and raise my own family.” Molly also intends to give back. “Through my job and in my spare time, I would like to contribute to charities and programs that support the things I value and believe in. I hope to be able to help and support my family and community as much as I can and as often as I can because they have always been there for me.”

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Molly!
