Teresa, the daughter of Christy Meacham, is a 2018 graduate of Galion High School. She is entering her second year of a bachelor’s degree in sports management at Mount Vernon Nazarene University.

Teresa’s passion for sports and ability in business classes led her to choose sports management as a career. “I have always had a passion for sports,” she stated. “In high school, I participated in cross country, basketball, softball, and track. Originally, I wanted to go to school to be an athletic trainer. However, science is not my strong suit. I have always been better with business classes. So when I discovered MVNU has a sports management degree, I knew that would be perfect for me.” After graduating, Emma wants to work in a high school as an athletic director. “I would love to get to work in a school not only as an athletic director but as a mentor to students just as my coaches were for me. Additionally, I would love to coach a sport one day.”

Congratulations and good luck in the future, Teresa!
