2023 Scholarship Recipient Spotlight: Ruth Kaple

 The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce Ruth  Kaple, a 2023 recipient of the Jeanne A. Miller Scholarship award and one of  the six L. Earl Smith Scholarship awards.

 Ruth, the daughter of Brett Kaple and Holly Kaple, is a 2023 graduate of  Wynford High School. She will be attending Hocking College this fall and  studying Wildlife Resource Management.

2023 Scholarship Recipient Spotlight: Kaitlyn Best

 The Community Foundation for Crawford County is pleased to introduce     Kaitlyn Best, a 2023 recipient of one of the six Crawford County Sports Hall of   Fame Scholarship awards and one of the three Tyler Niese Memorial   Scholarship awards.

 Kaitlyn, the daughter of Mr. Richard Best and Ms. Angela Best, is a 2023   graduate of Buckeye Central High School. She will be attending Bowling Green   State University this fall and studying Psychology.

Foundation Announces 2023 Scholarship Recipients

The Community Foundation for Crawford County recently awarded over $206,000 in scholarships to both graduating seniors and current college students. As President Lisa Workman explained, “These results are from 34 of the 37 scholarship funds held here at the Foundation. Of the 122 individual scholarships awarded, $88,000, or roughly 42%, went to college students, and 34 of them were renewals. We are thrilled to see that college students from Crawford County still apply for our scholarships and hope that keeping their college debt down will also help prevent drop-out.”
